Sunbusters Window Tinting Limited Prepared by Grow Against Limits
Grow Against Limits package proposal

A new website for Sunbusters.

Thirty two years at the same address, four Dealer of the Year awards and Austin's best dealerships on the client list. This page shows a website built to carry all of that.

It covers where the site stands, a design direction built around the badge you already have, a homepage designed in full that you can click through, and everything that runs around the site each month.

Where the site stands today

The current site has carried the shop for a long time, and most of what it says is worth keeping: the history, the dealer list, the LLumar awards and 649 Google reviews. The new site keeps all of it and gives it a better place on the page.

History from sunbusterstint.com. Rating and review count from Google, October 27, 2026. AI result from the visibility audit run for Sunbusters in June 2026 across ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity.

The reputation is already there. The new site makes it the first thing a visitor sees, and makes asking for a price take less than a minute.

02

The direction: build around the badge

Sunbusters logo

The badge has been on the building, the shirts and the site for decades. It stays exactly as it is. Nothing gets redrawn.

The site is built around it instead. Four things that are already in the badge and on the building carry the whole design, so every page looks like it came from the same shop on Research Blvd.

The little guy

He gets a few small jobs.

The figure in the badge is holding a strip of film up against the sun. That is the whole business in one picture, so he and his strip come off the badge in the places where they help a customer.

He shows whether the shop is open, he holds up the shade you are looking at, and he confirms your quote request went through. Everywhere else he stays in the badge.

  • The open lightUnder the sun while the shop is open. The sun sets at closing time.
  • The shade pickerHis strip becomes the film sample, in each shade.
  • Quote sentHe holds up the strip when your request arrives.
The second idea

The best of the early web, put to work.

Sunbusters grew up alongside the internet. The sites from those years said plainly who you are, when you are open and how long you have been at it. That plain, efficient tone suits a shop that has done one job well since 1994.

Three things from that era come back as working parts of a modern site. They stay small and they each do a job.

  • The counterReal numbers in digit boxes: 1994, 4.9, 649.
  • The guestbookReviews laid out as signed and dated entries.
  • What's newThe shop history as a dated list, newest first.

It sits on the first screen of every page, on a phone and a computer. Fill it in and press the button to see what comes back.

Part 02

The guestbook

Each review reads as a signed, dated entry. The newest come in on their own.

These are two of your newest Google reviews, quoted as they were written.

Kalpesh GalaGoogle / October 2026

Amazing experience from calling to learn, schedule, drop off, and pick-up.

Keith JonesGoogle / September 2026

Faster than expected service. Got it done over my lunch break. Perfect tint job, great products. Dave is the man! 4th car they have tinted for me.

Part 03

What's new

The company history, kept as a dated list with the newest line on top. Awards, new films and new services get added as they happen.

Every line is taken from the history page on your current site.

  1. 2022

Texas Region Dealer of the Year from Eastman and LLumar, for the fourth time.

  2. 2011

Paint protection film joins the shop.

  3. 2000

First shop in Austin to cut film from computer patterns.

  4. 1995

The first dealerships, Covert Ford and Champion Chevrolet.

  5. 1994

Sunbusters opens at 11655 Research Blvd, in an enclosed carport.

Part 04

The shade picker

The little guy holds his strip up against the sun. Pick a shade and the strip darkens to match, so a customer sees what 5% and 35% mean before they call.

It lives on the window tint page. The five shades are placeholders until Jason tells us which FormulaOne shades the shop stocks.

ShadeLight let through

Part 05

The open light

The little guy under the sun sits in the strip at the top of every page and reads the shop hours on Austin time. At closing the sun goes down and the line says when you open next.

The strip at the top of this panel is live. The two below it are set to open and closed.

These are complete designs, built as working pages. Scroll each one here, or open it and try it on your own phone. The quote form is on the first screen of both.

The words are sample copy and the forms do not send yet. Every photo is one of yours.
